Christopher Columbus explored what he thought was India. It really wasn't. It was what he called '' San Salvador," which is present-day Bahamas. He traveled from Spain all the way to the Bahamas! That's a long travel especially on a ship. He sailed for about a month on a crowded ship. I couldn't do that.
